Waste
Description
"849 million tons of waste are produced in France every year, or the equivalent of the weight of over 84,000 Eiffel Towers"
The twentieth century produced more industrial and household waste than all previous centuries together. Awareness of the waste problem is evolving. In a period of a few decades, we have gone from fly tipping in the countryside to regulated storage centres and viewing waste as a secondary resource for producing energy or for being recycled.
This policy of optimizing and valuing waste will no doubt continue to develop and in order for this happen, certain innovations will be needed in years to come.
The issue we are currently facing is therefore how to define the most suitable waste management option (household or industrial waste) focussing on collection and transport solutions, raw material energy savings, recycling or development, while respecting current legislation.
In response to this question facing all the players involved (local authorities, industrial companies or sectors, eco-organisms, collection and treatment service providers), ANTEA proposes targeted services.
