Infrastructures
Description
"Rapid urbanization has become one of the major challenges facing the international community" (Kofi Annan)
The need for environmental conservation must not overlook the fact that the world's population and urbanization are increasing. These two realities lead to the implementation of regional development policies, the development of transport, communication, water or energy supply infrastructures required for human activity. Such infrastructures also contribute to the proper conservation of our resources.
It may also be that in fragile natural sites, unforeseen natural events put these infrastructures and man at risk; action then becomes essential to allow for a lasting balance.
Finally, the will to preserve our assets may also mean intervening on sites which have been historically damaged by the presence of man and which can only be returned to their original condition through modern technology and awareness of what is at stake.
Managing the risks concerned with the ground and underground is one of the founding areas of ANTEA's activities. This expertise has evolved constantly and has become renowned today.
