Draft report on the impacts of an activity on the environment
ANTEA answer
Past or present activities are likely to have affected or to affect the environment and/or populations close to your site so the authorities may request a report documenting the condition of the environment likely to have been concerned by your activity.
It involves assessing the impacts on the environment and the population caused by the activities of an industrial site, with the aim of taking measures to make them acceptable if required.
An IEM participates in the evaluation of the environmental liability to inform, if necessary, a future buyer. An IEM involves a pollution diagnosis section and a risk assessment section (Health and/or Environment).
ANTEA provide:
- the expertise of their engineers specialised in hydrogeology, geochemistry, ecology etc. to draw up the diagnosis
- their toxicology specialists to assess the Health risks.
In the event of an unacceptable risk, the next step is to reduce this risk by taking action on the sources of pollution or on its methods of transfer. The solutions proposed will be listed in your management plan.
