However, the way these problems are perceived individually, as a whole and how they are interconnected is constantly changing. Current legal constraints are getting stronger and the impact of the media in every decision can be constructive or destructive. To be in control of environmental issues is to be in control of economic issues.Today, environmental problems call for a global view. ANTEA is an independent engineering and environmental consulting firm. With a history of expertise in surface and underground resources, over the years, ANTEA has been able to develop as a specialist in environmental sciences. Today, it is the ability to combine skills, within a broad vision of the problems facing the environment, which makes up the special talent of ANTEA.

Our origins
Founded as part of the BRGM (Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières) in 1994, in order to be the exclusive providers of the Group’s engineering and consultancy services in France and abroad, ANTEA became fully independent in 2003.Our structures
Over 400 engineers, doctors and technical personnel are employed in:- A network of agencies, covering France and carrying out all activities,
- A network of expatriate representatives in permanent positions in over 10 countries,
- A professional network comprising:

- 30 specialists in Industrial risks,
- 100 specialists and geotechnicians in Infrastructures,
- 40 professionals in the Waste sector.
- An international management team, based in Paris, responsible for operations outside mainland France with projects running in over 40 countries,
- Technical management based in Orléans, responsible for research and development and monitoring technical development.
